Padauk is a highly underrated tonewood, in my humble opinion. I was hoping to get this one over the finish line, but instead, I decided to sand it back quite aggressively. 😢 not happy with the finish on the top, so I will need to take quite a few steps back. French polish remains humbling. Every time you think you -finally- start to figure it out, it throws you (or at least me) a curve ball.
